I just wanted to share with you all the reason why there is so much flooding going on right now in Western Iowa and Eastern Nebraska. There is so much snow melt coming down the Missouri River from Montana so that means that this dam has to release water. And releasing is what it is doing!! Record release. We spent the day here Saturday in South Dakota. The force of this water being released is just unreal.

These 2 pictures were taken from the Lewis and Clark Visitors building up above the dam. Very pretty but not good news.
