Someone make me stop!!!!

I really need someone to tell me to stop buying all this stuff until I get some of this other stuff done!! Hubby won't tell me!! Maybe one of you will, but do you think I will listen?? Probably not...lol!!

Went to a Salvation Army store in Omaha today. Have not been in one of those stores for years. Not sure why though as Omaha isn't that far away from me and the fabric store is right next door so I have a good excuse to go into town right?? LOL! I could have gotten so much more but I had to limit myself (WHAT???) because I wanted to go to the fabric store also where there was a huge sale going on! Patterns for 99 cents! Material 1/2 price! My hubby asked me if I had a good time fabricating....lol!! Yep, sure did!!

Anyway, on to the goodies that I got.

Love this Americana pillow and the picture

A dish soap jar that I will probably prim up just a tad more

Another shelf (there were tons of different types of shelves there!)

These 2 little rolltop recipe boxes

Double cubby recipe box

And finally this blue box which is pretty well prim already but it won't stay that color for me and then this book stand?

Well that's it for me for a couple of days. It's been really hot here, I love it!! Need to get something done in the next couple of days.

Goodwill and ebay

Good afternoon!!

I did get the wood stuff listed on ebay last night. I still have some misc. items to list and a whole bunch of painting patterns.

Ok, these are the pictures of what I got at Goodwill yesterday.

Somebody tell me what this is? It looked old so that's why I got it...lol
Photobucket

A little shelf and mirror plaque. You can't see it in the picture but it is engraved on the mirror with Bless This House
Photobucket

This fake window with a patriotic theme in it
Photobucket

And I always complain that I can never find any of these candleholders and there was 2 of them at the store this time
Photobucket

And this little wood container with these coasters. Probably won't keep the coasters though
Photobucket

And then this is the big thing that I got that I absolutely love and thought was a great deal at 14.99. I don't care for the heart but that's ok. I'm sure I'll prim the whole thing up. A chair that turns into a stepladder! I have seen these before and always wanted one but they were always so expensive. I'm hoping I got a good deal.

Well that's all for today. It's been raining all day and now it's cleared off and really humid & hot. Everyone have a great weekend!!

Sorry!

I gotta apologize. I haven't gotten any of my wood cuts listed onto my ebay like I thought I would get done by now. May do some tonight. I was at the hospital with my mom all morning, they were going to shock her heart to get it back in rythym, but her blood test for the Coumadin wasn't right so they canceled the procedure. This was after she was already in a gown and the anethesioligist had already talked to her and everything. So now she has to up her Coumadin and be tested weekly until they get 3 regular tests of the right numbers. So then I went to Goodwill, that was a major mistake...lol. Got lots to show but haven't even taken pictures yet and then I came home and did yardwork. And now it's almost suppertime.

New handmade item for sale and Goodwill finds

I will be putting this Prim & Grungy Sunflower with crows on Etsy shortly. This is a design by Barbara Tutak. I finally got 2 of these done, they were fun to do. The sunflower is made out of checked cotton, the center and the crows are muslin. I have coffee-stained the sunflower and center several times and then I rubbed cinnamon over everything! There is an twine loop on the back for hanging.

Ok, I think that's it for today. There hasn't been much going on around here at all. The weather has just been terribly cold for June.

My lily's

I had to take a couple of pictures of my lily's and show you how beautiful they are. They are really blooming this year, and it still has quite a few buds on it yet. Also a picture of my Artemis(???). It has really grown full this year. Usually the baby rabbits have gotten to it by now.

Yes, I have done some sewing!! LOL!

Yes, I got the sewing machine sewing last week and made these cute "Sack A Crows". These are more grungy looking than the picture shows. The bags are tea-stained, along with the sunflowers. The bag is tied with tea-stained cheesecloth. This is a design by Becky over at Tennessee Ridge Primitives
She is having an awesome sale right now on her epatterns but ya gotta hurry, this sale won't last much longer!!

We also had a busy weekend. My daughter and grandson Landon came to visit for the weekend. Her father was in town and wanted to spend some time with Landon. Here is a recent picture of Landon....with his mohawk!!

My oldest son and his wife also had a housewarming/graduation party at his new home that they just bought. I am so proud of them! His wife also just graduated from college. We had a good time. He grilled hamburgers and hot dogs.

Have a great week everyone!!
