What a week!!
Hi everyone, hope you are all doing well this Saturday evening. It's cold and snowy here in Nebraska.
Before I get to my week, I first need to show you my stocking that I won from Tammy over at her blog. She says it's backwards but I'm loving it either way! She also included that sweet little stocking. Thanks so much Tammy. And a thanks to Angie for the lovely card! No picture of it though, fogot!
I did get some more pinkeeps done and listed on ebay.
Now about the week that I had. Started at 7 am last Friday morning, never good to get a phone call that early in my house. It was my mom's boyfriend telling me that he thinks my mom had a stroke and that they were calling the ambulance. I'm going crazy at this time. Have to wait a bit before going to the hospital as they live about 20 miles away. Anyway, for long story short, the doctor's say that she had a TIA (mini-stoke). She is on Coumadin and her blood numbers weren't right along with the A-Fib that she has was probably most likely the cause of it they said. She has no debilitating effects, thank GOD! She was in the hospital until Monday, they let her out. She had scans done and never did find anything or where she might have been hemmoraging if she did have a clot. So anyway, she is doing really well now and has been out and about. We have been telling her that it's too soon but she won't listen. She said she is going back to work this Monday but she has another thing coming if she thinks she is...lol. So thank you all that said prayers for her when I had originally posted on facebook and you saw it there.
Well that is about it for here. Just not much going on at all. I have done some decorating but nothing like I did last year. I don't even have my tree up yet and still debating on doing that.

New Pinkeeps
Hi everyone! Hope your holiday week is going well for you all!!
I got lots more pinkeeps done and have listed them on eBay.
This group are all designs by Jenny at Country Rustic Primitives:
And this group are designs by different designers, Stacy Nash Primitives, Primitive Betty's, The Stitcherhood, Threadwork Primitives, the Christmas Ornament magazine:
The following are picture's of stuff that I picked up at the Estate Store a couple of weeks ago.
These coasters smell so good! There is an old hair cutter, a metal Canadian Whiskey shot glass, and a box of old clothespins:
An old box and an old cross stitch picture:
Biscuit cutters in original box, don't think they have ever been used.
Pewter plate and an old grater I think.
And these 2 things that I think are homemade sifters.
I got a couple of other things but they are for a swap so I can't show them.
Are any of you Black Friday shoppers?? I'm not, I'll be home on the computer and glued to Amazon for their deals.
Hope you all have a very Happy Thanksgiving. Travel safe if any of you are traveling to family.

Giveaway win and stuff
Hi everyone! So sorry to hear about all the snow in the Northeast, stay safe and warm, and please don't send it my way!! We have been having beautiful weather but chilly during the nights. Halloween will be nice for the kids...high of 65.
I recently won Pat's giveaway over at her blog and oh my word!! This pin cushion is just beyond beautiful!! So much detail on it. Didn't she do great work on it? She also sent me a vintage cross stitched towel, a wonderful beaded bracelet (beautiful also), and a sweet little french note card to use. Thanks so much Pat! I love everything!
Well I did have some pictures of some goodies that I bought at the last estate sale but I can't find them!! I had gotten 2 pin cushions, some cute hat pins, a granite pitcher and I think that was it.

Well I believe that's all I have for you today. It's been pretty boring around here, haven't done anything but stitch. So my next post should have all new cross stitched pin keeps for you to see. Oh, I did pick up another merchandising job. So now that's 3 jobs that I work. The new one is weekly so that is even better. I have also decided that the pack of cigarettes that I opened this morning will be my last. Yup...I'm quitting. I gotta!! Wish me luck on this cuz I'm gonna need it. Some past events....
...that I haven't posted about. I know I know, bad me!!
A couple of weeks ago (ok, it was longer than that), we had my mom's 80th birthday open house. She had a great turn-out and I think it went really well. This picture is of me and my sister's and my mom. I'm on the far left. I only get along with the sister that is blond and unfortunately she lives in Alabama so I'm lucky to see her once a year. (2nd from right).
The table decorations were really simple and I forgot to go back and find out whose idea this was, except I used floating candles instead of flowers. So thanks to whoever that was that gave the idea.
And then the weekend after the birthday party, my daughter and grandson came back for a visit. I don't get to see them often since she has a DUI and can't drive. Can't believe she did that!! Anyway, my mom showed up also so I got some 4 generation pictures of us. Don't we all look excited??

Yes, I do have that nasty habit and that is a cigarette in my hand!
I have been sick since Wednesday, not sure what it is but I'm still not feeling right today. My breathing is off, I do know that (gosh, could it be that I smoke??). I should probably go to the doc. tomorrow. I have also picked up a new merchandising position, I'm with Foster Grant now also, so that gives me about 8 more stores in my area to do. The service calls are usually only once a month, but it still gets me out and about so I'm not shut in all day every day. I did get to the Estate Sale and I have some goodies to show but I haven't even taken pictures yet so that will be another post. Hopefully soon!! Well I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and hope you have a wonderful week!

I have about had it....
with Blogger!! I can post about twice and then I can't do anything. I sign in, then sign out, then sign in, make sure the "keep me signed in" isn't checked, I leave my comment and it dissapears into thin air!! And it's happening on all the blogs, moderated or not. I'm so frustrated. Anyone else having problems??

To all you creative people out there....
I need help...lol! I need some ideas for some inexpensive table centerpieces for my mom's 80th birthday open house. There really isn't a theme, but the colors are blue and white. No prim....she doesn't like that...ha!! There are 18 tables. I hope you guys can help me!! Thanks in advance!!

Did you miss me????......
....I didn't think so...lol!
I'm late in posting these 2 packages that I recently got. The first was a giveaway that I won from Nancy. I just love everything, she does great work!!
The second package that I got was from Linda (no blog) and this was a swap that we did that was hosted by Amy over at Bumble Bee Lane. This was the first pumpkin doll that Linda had ever made and I think it turned out great! I'm loving that pinkeep with the crow on it. And I forgot to take a picture of what I sent her. She said she liked it all though so I'm happy about that.

My swap with Amy
Hi all! Hope you are having a great start to the week! It is hot and humid around this area and I know some of you are going through the same thing. So stay hydrated everyone if you are outside!
I'm late in posting this...sorry Amy!!! But that sweet girl and I did a swap and the items she gave me are just fantabulous!
All the pineapple things she made herself. There is a real dried pineapple (Amy said she is never going to do another..lol), a fabric pineapple and beewax pineapples. These smell so good!! I noticed that she has them posted on her blog today and is selling them, be sure to go visit, they are great!!! There is also a very cute little wooden bucket and also an awesome Americana picture.
And then THIS!!! I so love this, I have wanted an item of Karen's for a long time now and I finally have one!! I was so excited over this!! It's a darling little prim bag. I'm not sure if I want to use it though...lol!
And yes of course I can't forget to mention the cracker box. I forgot to take a picture of it, thanks girl! Love ya!!
Has anyone heard from Sue over at Oodlekadoodle Primitives?? I'm worried about her, she hasn't posted now in over 4 weeks.

A win and a couple of questions for you all~
Wow, 2 posts in one day....AGAIN!!! I'm getting better at this blogging bit.....lol!!
I won a giveaway from Natalie over at Tins and Treasures. I got this wonderful sewing basket and a bunch of surprises when I opened it up! Got some DMC floss, knitting needles, some homspun fabric, sticky felt, paintbrushes. Thank you so very much Natalie...I love it all!!
Did I show you all my little desk that I got at The Whistle Stop Country Store a couple of weeks ago?? I love it but once again, I have no place for it yet.
Ok, my questions pertain to the next 2 pictures. Anyone know what they are? The hooks maybe rug hooking? These 3 things were in a box that my mom had gotten at an auction recently.
